I went to high school with Jimmy Nash and we were in the same gym class. He was a pretty good athlete during class and some of the guys would ask him why he didn't try out for any of the athletic teams...His answer was always the same...He didn't want to break or twist or hurt any part of his body because he wanted to be in perfect condition to join the Marine Corp. He was a really good guy...

Almost 55 years ago on the Princeton. You handed your personal possessions to another Marine and said you weren't coming back from this operation. KIA with several others on Hastings. I'll never forget!

Dear PFC James Nash, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. I researched you on your 74th birthday, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It’s a New Year, but not necessarily better. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
