Richard McWilliams
I was only 15 when he was killed in Vietnam. His parents were long time family friends & everyone in Norman knew their family.
I can remember the terrible tole it took on his family as he was their only child. It was a very SAD time. His body was returned to his parents around Christmas.
His parents lived many years without him, but never forgot his sacrifice for this country. The sacrifice of their son’s life.

honoring you.....
War drew us from our homeland
In the sunlit springtime of our youth.
Those who did not come back alive remain
in perpetual springtime -- forever young --
And a part of them is with us always.

Thank You
Dear PFC Richard McWilliams, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was the anniversary of the terror attacks. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
