Thank You
Dear Sp4 Rob McSorley, Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is the anniversary of the terror attacks. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Rob's self-sacrifice for another soldier
You voluntered to go on point in place of an U.S.-born soldier who had much less experience. You ended up dying in his place. You would be close to 70-years-old if you had survived. You are not forgotten. What a terrible loss to your fellow Canadians, friends, family, and fellow U.S. soldiers. I am glad that you and 133 U.S. soldiers from Canada are listed on The Wall in Washington D.C. I am retired from the U.S. Army. You were mentioned in Army leadership and ethics briefings many times. I salute you!
