Fellow corpsman and friend
Charlie and I were stationed at Chelsea Naval, got orders for Nam together did meet again once in Nam just before his death in early September 1967, we got to talk awhile but we were with different units. Could not believe a couple of days after we talked he was killed. It was a very active and dangerous area we were in. Just want to say Charlie was a great guy and fun to be with at Chelsea Naval Hospital I’m glad I got to spend some time with him in Vietnam. I’m very sure his Marines surely missed him and respected his service to them and country. God Bless Charlie.

do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will always be with us....
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
