My Grandpa

Grandpa, I never had the honor or privilege of meeting you. I have visited your burial site many times and thought about the man you were and the sacrifice you made, your son, my uncle, and my mother are just a few headstones down from you. I know there is no other final resting place they would rather be. My dad is your son, you would be proud of him and how he raised Michael, Sarah and I. We have always kept your medals displayed on the wall. I love you grandpa and look forward to the day we finally meet. Semper Fi grandpa.
