Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Dear PFC Bobby McKinnon, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. 81 years ago today, WWII began in Europe. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Bob, I remember you so vividly. You were so brave to have joined the Marines at that time. Only those of us who have served can understand your love and dedication to our country. Rest in peace until I can see you again.
