Remembering An American Hero

Dear SGT Randolph Burns McKellips, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

MY BROTHER MY HERO

My Brother never knew me as a young man because at a young age we were seperated from a brew of 13 kids. I searched long after reaching adulthood to find my brother. I found the answer in 93. My brother was my protector when I was little and my hero when he served his country well. I only wished that as he served and died that he knew his siblings loved and were proud of him. As we travel this long road, I miss my brother and wish that I could hold him once and say THANKS for giving all he had in a war that nobody wanted but we had to fight, UNCLE SAM called and he went.
My brother was an example of the sons and fathers that went off to war and never came home but that we as a nation could be proud to call anyone of them a son, brother, friend.
WE ARE PROUD OF YOU BRO May you rest in peace
