I am 77 years old, one year older than Rick would be today in 2024.. Went to
Green Bay West High School with Rick in 1963-65. Worked with him at local neighborhood grocery store. He was the best. Never forget him. I believe people you loved and cared about never die until that last person who ever knew them leave this earth. You are still with us Rick.

honoring you.....
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Schoolmates
Anytime a discussion about the Vietnam War comes up I think of Rick. We were schoolmates at Annunciation. I thought he was just the cutest, nicest guy - had a crush on him.
Until tonight I didn't recall he was the first Green Bay casualty.
Just so sad .... but he has not been forgotten. God Bless him a d his family.
Oh, I was a Baenen. I know our parents knew each other.

Thank You
Dear PFC Richard McKee, Thank you for your service as a Huey, UH-1 Helicopter Repairman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Time passes quickly, but our world needs help. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
