Dear friend

I attended St. John's Lutheran College in Winfield, Kansas, with Jerry in '62-'63. We chummed for that year, often double dating, sometimes going to Topeka. I loved hanging out listening to him play his guitar. What a terrible loss. Joe, i read your remembrance. It was beautiful. I'm sure there is nothing to forgive, but if there were, Jerry would have tossed it to the furthest ends of the heavens. I pray you can do that for yourself. God is good.
