honoring you....

War drew us from our homeland
In the sunlit springtime of our youth.
Those who did not come back alive remain
in perpetual springtime -- forever young --
And a part of them is with us always.

I miss my brother!

My sister shared with me some info that she secured from our nephew. We are very thankful for that. I was just 10 years old when he died. He was 19. I miss him and what could have been. If anyone wants to get a hold of me, you are welcomed to use my email or you can find me on Facebook. (Deborah Johnson McGovern)
Thank you to all who has served and are still serving.

My brave brother

I cannot believe that after 50 years, I am finding out things my family and I never New about.
My nephew who is in the Air Force recently took a trip to DC and was able to secure info for us. Thank you to those who posted. It touched our hearts. Through this I was able to speak to two men. One who trained with my brother, Chuck Gorman and Kirk Ramsey who was on the field just a few men behind my brother, who was walking point, that dreadful day. Thank you again for your service to a war, that will never be forgotten. God Bless everyone of you.
