You were my best friend's big brother and like a big brother to me. You taught me what a 4bbl carbeurator was in that ol' hot rod Chevy of your's. Sorry for all the pranks me & Tommy pulled on you. I didn't mind having to clean your boots since it was us made you step into the sewerage ditch. I was there that night the uniforms showed at the door to tell the family you were gone.

RIP CPL Berger -Dixie

I remember the day you pasted I was in your platoon --pfc Witsman tried to save you but it was to late. It was a terrible day --we lost seven of our friends that day. RIP Cpl Berger & Sgt Gibson & Pfc Najar -you guys were the best ---SEMPER FI MARINES !!!
