MIA/POW Bracelet
I was not quite a teenager when my mom got me my Brian Kent McGar bracelet. I wore his bracelet for over 20 years, until it broke in half in the late 80s. His name is burned into my memory. I can picture the bracelet and how it fit my wrist. I remember how I would run my fingers across his name, and wonder where he was. I did an internet search and found this page 40+ years after I could no longer wear his bracelet. I'm so glad to hear he was recovered for his family. Know that all those years he was thought of quite often. I've wondered over those years if his name was on The Memorial in DC. Now I know it is. Please let his family know that Brian Kent McGar might be gone, but he was NEVER forgotten.

honoring you....
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. I am heartened you returned home after the passage of so many years though I wish it had been under very different circumstances. May you rest in eternal peace.

POW/MIA Bracelet
To the family of Brian. I am the proud owner of a pow/mia bracelet . I have often try to find out what happened to this brave man. I have had this bracelet for many years and kept it safe just incase I could ever return it to him. I picked his name because he was a PFC and wore it with pride as if he was my own family member. I am so sorry for this outcome. He will stay in my prayers for the rest of my life. I wish I could get this bracelet to a family member who would love to have it. I will try my best to do that. God bless you and your family for your ultimate sacrifice . I feel like I have honored his memory by finding him on Memorial Day Weekend. If a family member reads this I can be reached at [email protected]. God bless you and your family , Linda Ciallella
