In your honor

Lieutenant McDonough, U.S. Naval Reserve, was a member of Carrier Early Warning Squadron 13, Carrier Air Wing 15 aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS CONSTELLATION (CVA-64). On June 20, 1966, he was the pilot of a Douglas Sky raider Electronic Surveillance Aircraft (EA-1F) on a night mission. During the launch the bridle connecting the aircraft to the catapult broke, and the aircraft fell of the carrier bow and sang. His remains were not recovered.
