AIR MUSEUM POW/MIA BRACELET DISPLAY

I am the Curator of the POW/MIA Bracelet Display in the Vietnam Hangar of the Palm Springs Air Museum in Palm Springs, California where we now have over two thousand bracelets and would be honored to include your bracelet in our Display. If you are an immediate family member (spouse, fiancé, sibling, child, grandchild, cousin, niece, nephew) or close friend I can order one for the Display in your name.

A childhood friend from Minot, ND

We met in grade school, got to know each other quite well in junior high and continued friends in high school. We both dropped out in 10th grade and found work. He always was bugging me to join up when we were in high school, he enlisted when he was 18. I got drafted at 19 in 1972. I wasn't too keen on the military when first drafted. Finished basic and AIT trained as a driver 64C20. It hit me hard when learned he had been killed. Eventually I was sent to Vietnam and served there 287 days. I think of Dave a lot and remember the good times we had growing up. Rest in peace, David.
