More Than A Friend

We were teammates in DG football. We were classmates in Bayside High School. We were serving in the US ARMY at the same time, I had finished my Vietnam tour in June of '69 and was stationed in Germanywhen my Mother wrote me of what happened to you, I cried shamelessly.
You were and remain as one of the nicest people I had the pleasure to know.

lost of a close friend

Billy was a GREAT baseball player and a very good football player. I lived a block from him. We played against each other in football for a few years in DG football league. He was a great person. It was so wrong and sad that he was taken way too soon. His passing changed my life. I miss him everyday.

What a great cousin you were

Billy, A day doesn't go by where I don't see the rubbing from the wall with your name on it. I am so grateful, that you came and visited my parents and me prior to leaving for Vietnam. It breaks my heart when I go to work and see how many things my employer purchases that is manufactured in Vietnam. Hope I make it to heaven to see you again. I will always remember all the holidays we spent together at Nanny and PaPa's.
