THE WALL OF FACES

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

I remember my cousin THOMAS McBRIDE giving me a ride on his back in Burdette Pool in Evansville Indiana when I was too little for the pool and had not learned how to swim yet. I am ten years younger than "TOMMY" and I think I was probably less than 6 years old. I was recently given the photo of us in that pool by my Mother. It reminds me of what I admire most about him, his kind loving attitude toward others. I love and miss you cousin Tommy!!! (PS Thanks to you Tommy, I learned to swim well and I do not fear water! LOL)

The SON of the MOST HIGH said There is no greater love than what you gave. I came to see you today! You were not there. Thomas wasn’t there. You are in a place most cannot see. A place reserved for you and your brothers. I will be with you shortly. I wrote this for my Dad’s brothers who did not make it back home! Some say? You and me know better. Please forgive me I should have been there for you I will love you until the end of time, ooops guess I will have to love YOU forever (Marines in the Heart of GOD there no end). To all who served, Your body may lye in a far off land or beneath a stormy sea. Your soal it rose to be with GOD to a place we cannot see.Your sprit roams in this land from to glimmering sea.But your HEART will always be here at home (With the ones You gave all to keep FREE). Dear Lcpl Thomas McBride, Thank you for your service as a Machine Gunner. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Time passes quickly, but our world needs help. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
