We Nam Brothers pause to give a backward glance, and post this remembrance to you, one of the gentle heroes lost to the War in Vietnam:

Slip off that pack. Set it down by the crooked trail. Drop your steel pot alongside. Shed those magazine-ladened bandoliers away from your sweat-soaked shirt. Sonny, your brother's book entitled Fallen Angels is mandatory reading for incoming freshmen in Lake County High Schools, north of Chicago.

Thomas, Your brother has written a wonderful book,"Fallen Angels," I hope more young people like myself can take time to read this. Your absents is not going unnoticed, I hope people can learn why this has taken place and prevent it from happening again.
