A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Dear Lcpl Charles Myers, Thank you for your service as a Mortarman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the 12th Day of Christmas, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Charles was born 2/14/1947 in Carlsbad NewMexico the family moved to California in 1953 living in Inglewood,Hawthorne,Duarte Charles married Jean Cross just before leaving for Vietnam in 1966 we received word on Fathers Day 1967 it has been the hardest day of our lives.Hold on to you loved ones we never know when Gog will call them home. We lost the best of our young men in that war may God bless them all
