Klamath County Museum

Klamath Falls OR...Born Sept. 22, 1944, in Klamath Falls, Donald Musselman graduated from Tulelake High School. He joined the Army in July of 1964, and served one year in Korea. He re-enlisted in the Army in May of 1967.

Musselman was a member of Co. D, 588th Eng. Bn. He was 23 at the time of his death. He was survived by his wife, Barbara, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Musselman, two brothers, and a sister. He was buried at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.

Valorous Unit Award

In 1970 by Department of the Army General Order DAGO 39, 70; you became a recipient of the Silver Star bestowed upon all members serving in the the 588th Engr Bn during the period 18 Nov 67 to 23 Feb 68 - Operation Yellowstone. RIP Don - you earned it.
