do not stand at my grave and weep....

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

1LT Thomas J Murphy

He was my father & I remember well the day my grandfather came to school to pick us kids up & take us to our grieving mother. In his honor I have worn a KIA bracelet ever since I can remember. I too joined the USArmy & served 24+ years, I through jump school & later became a Jumpmaster before leaving for flight school, I had the honor of flying Huey’s, Cobras, Kiowa’s & Blackhawks. Thank you Dad

Thank You

Dear Lt Thomas Murphy, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Commander. The 54th anniversary of the start of your tour is soon. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the 8th Day of Christmas and New Year’s Day, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
