Another year.
I've remembered you many times during different times of year, but always on this occasion, once I found out about your service. You were a very few years older than I was. We were related a few cousin levels out, on your mom and my dad's side of the families. I saw you last when some of us from LCHS were at CMA for a marching band competition. You were so proud in your CMA uniform. Your mom was my 5th grade teacher years before that. I served later, but not in the dire circumstances you braved.
Enjoy your glory, and thanks, again, Marine.
