Never Forgotten.

I was honored to visit you yesterday at your grave, at Golden Gate National Cemetary. It was Memorial Day, and I couldn't be luckier to meet some of your friends from Jr. High and High School. So amazing to hear the stories and how popular you were. Your wrestling stories and how funny you were. I wish I could have met you because I know we would have got along really well. Im proud to be able to say: "My Uncle served in the Vietnam War and was a Marine."

My cousin

Just recently I came across a photo of you and Mike and your mom when you came to visit us in Colorado. You were so handsome, Larry. Over the years we have spoken and thought of you often.

We Remember

Although we were never able to meet, I know that we would have gotten along fine. I want to thank you for everything that you did for our country, and for your family. Your family misses you dearly. I know for a fact that your sister, my mom, does especially. Your work in Vietnam will not go in Vain. Thank you for keeping our country safe. We will work equally hard to keep the memory of you alive.

love, your nephew, Adam
