Thank you
I am a student at Gridley High School and involved in a world history assignment in which we are leaving remembrances to America’s fallen soldiers of the Vietnam War. In today's world, hero is a word that is used very often, but without knowing its true meaning. However, I know what a hero is. It is someone who is willing to fight for their country to ensure that people are guaranteed freedom. They love their country and are full of pride, even if the odds are against them. It gives me joy to know that, even at such a young age, you were sure of your commitment to your country. You made the ultimate sacrifice and I commend you! You truly are a hero in my eyes!
