Final Mission of SP4 Larry G. Morgan

SP4 Larry G. Morgan was an Armored Reconnaissance Specialist serving with Headquarters & Headquarters Troop (HHT), 11th Armored Cavalry. On May 8, 1970, SP4 Morgan was driving the lead M113A armored personnel carrier on the return trip from Firebase Jake in Binh Long Province, RVN. While leading a column of tracked vehicles, Morgan’s track hit a mine on Route 246, two miles east of Tonle Cham Airfield.
