My Brother, My Friend
Phil...its been 57 years since we have seen each other. We spent so many good times together talking about important things. Its been hard for me to have made it out and you not...I've never forgotten you. What a good, principled soul you are. I will always remember you and have passed our stories on to my kids so I know that that our stories will live on. Not goodbye, its see you soon, brother.

We Were together
Remembering Lt Benn. We were together at LZ Salley working at the S-2. Remember the day he left on this operation. So sorry, still think of him as all of his family does.

God bless you!!!
Thinking of you today when your life was cut way to short. You were such a courageous young man - one of America's best. When my thoughts drift back to Norwich, you come immediately to mind. God bless you!!!

Remembering Phil on Memorial Day 2023
Phil, was the first fellow Rook that I met the day I reported to Norwich University. I think of him, often and particularly on Memorial day. He was a terrific person and a true hero ! - Bill Hanson, Norwich, class if 1967.

Phil Benn , a U.S. Patriot !
I often think of Phil, especially on U.S. holidays and reports of the U.S. Army. Phil was the first classmate that I met at Norwich University in 1963. We were friends during our fours years at Norwich. I remember how sad I and other Norwich buddies were when we received word of his passing, while we finishing up at Fort Knox and preparing for overseas.- Bill Hanson
