John, you are not forgotten. Your classmates from mission high school have established a scholarship in your memory at Mauldin Catholic high school. You are always acknowledged at our reunions, luncheons, etc.

Dear Sgt John Moran, Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantryman. Tour 75th birthday is in 2 days, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Advent. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I think of you always. I was only 5 when you left us. It is hard to believe 50 years have passed you have never left our prayers....
