Unforgotten
i first met Michael Moore when we were placed on the same Babe Ruth league baseball team. Both of us platooned rightfield, which in those days meant you were not among the best players on the field. Mike played his heart out anyway and whatever fate befell him in that Southeast Asian hellhole, i'm sure he continued to give his all just like he did on the playgrounds of Russell High.

I Knew Him
I knew Mike as a young man and the brother of a close friend. He was always around bothering the rest of us, since he was younger, then all of a sudden her grew up. I was in Viet Nam in 66-67 and didn't realize he was in the army until his brother came by and advised me of his death. He was a "Good" man.
