Thank You
Dear SFC James Moore, Thank you for your service as Indirect Fire Infantryman/Instructor. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Thanksgiving is soon, happy Thanksgiving in heaven. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

CHILDHOOD FRIEND FROM SOUTH GREENSBURG, PA
Jim was my childhood friend, we grew up together in South Greensburg, Pa. He was not from Latrobe. We use to play guessing the cars driving down Broad Street in South Greensburg, pa. to see who know what make the car was first.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SFC James Harrison Moore, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

For SFC James Harrison MOORE, USA...another son of Latrobe who gave his life for all of us!!!!!!!!!!
He loved us so.
Every day, in a hundred ways, he told us so.
In honesty, in affection, he told us so.
He loved us so.
Every day, in a hundred ways, he showed us so.
With loyalty and bravery, he showed us so.
He was our defender, and he kept us free!
He took an oath to guard us, and fought for liberty!
He loved us so, and we should know.
For we loved him so. Sergeant Moore, your service helped to keep our nation free! Avonmore's own Jill Corey, whom I admire as a great songbird, I believe, would be so proud of you and your service to our country. Jill, along with Julie Andrews and Dusty Springfield, are my three top songbirds. And America is still free!
