I will never forget the night...
I first met Jerry at Lackland AFB during a Combat Preparedness Course. He was SP and I K-9. Later that year we were both at Tuy Hoa AFB. He was part of a special unit on perimeter during times of high alert. I was on patrol not far from there and heard the radio transmissions and then the shots. Awhile later when he couldn't be reached we all feared the worst. The man I remember was courageous, honest and had a big heart. I think of him often.

Condolence
Thanks to Jerry Moon and his family for keeping me safe at Tuy Hoa 1967. Most of us did not have guns on hand so the Security Police were our protectors. Wish I had met Jerry. I have lived in Alabama all my life. Harold Cain Millbrook Alabama
