Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL George Grover Mitchell, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Thank You

Hello my name is Jamie Dennison. I am a Gridley High School student who is doing a project for my U.S. History class. We are to post remembrances for those who have not yet been remembered, so I am taking time out of my own busy schedule to remember you. I do not know you, or know about what you have done but, the Lord does. I am glad that you were brave and courageous while fighting for me. You will never be forgotten now that I have came across your name. I am proud of you and so is God.

God bless,
Jamie Dennison
