honoring you....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. While all deaths in Vietnam are tragic that you died just four days before your 35th birthday is especially so. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank You

Dear Captain Andrew Mitchell, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy Halloween. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

“A Good Guy”

Andy and I were good friends. We trained together in B66s at Hurlburt Field, FL. 1958. Then transferred with our B66s to Alconberry RAF in England. Our wives Mary Jean and Alta toured Europe together for the time of their lives thru Rome Paris and Austria while Andy and I held the fort with our many children while we flew missions and awaited their return. He was “a Good Guy” to all who knew him. Andy was a good guy!
