1LT John M. Minor was a U.S. Air Force pilot serving with the 8th Special Operations Squadron, 377th Air Base Wing. On March 17, 1972, he was the pilot of a USAF Cessna A-37B Dragonfly (#69-6355) which crashed while landing at Bien Hoa Air Base in Bien Hoa Province, RVN. 1LT Minor suffered fatal injuries in the accident. 1st Lt John M. Minor - USMA Graduate
1st Lt John Michael Minor was an alumnus of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY. He selected Air Force and received his commission as a 2nd Lt in the U.S. Air Force upon graduation. He was one of 335 men from West Point who died or are MIA in Southeast Asia during the period October, 1957 – September, 1972. Well done, be thou at peace.
