Read about Michael today.

I am reading Max Hastings book about Vietnam today and Michael was mentioned. I was inspired to research him.

Writing home that “everything is fine” to KIA in a few days. 55 years ago. Still heartbreaking to read. May we live in a world of peace some day.

A memory

It is good to "see you". I have a rubbing. I remember as grade school boys, I went to Mitchell School, how we'd play baseball and hockey. Summers, bicycling, Ward Park, etc. I read your name in the Stars and Stripes, a month to the day, before I left Nam and my ETS from the Army. Your father and mine, George, were friends. RIP

Thank You

Dear Lcpl Michael Minehan, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Halloween is the end of this week, Happy Halloween. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thoughts of Mike

I remember you as a talented hockey player and for your sense of humor. I don't know what made me search your name. I guess the emotions are setting in for me as my son prepares for yet another tour in Iraq. I don't know. I remember that
horrible day when we got the news at assembly at MHS. I remember Patty and the tears that day. Thank you for your service and sacrifice that you made for our great Nation.
