honoring you....
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from those who wear/wore your MIA bracelet are touching and reflect their admiration and respect for you. I remain forever hopeful you will be returned home after the passage of so many years.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
I got my bracelet in the early 70's when I was in my early teens. Capt. George I. Mims was listed as MIA at that time and reading the remembrances I see he never made it home. I no longer wear the bracelet but say a silent prayer every time I see it in my jewelry box. I had hope he would one day return to his wife and family. I'm heartbroken to see that was not the case. I hope you are resting in peace.

My Bracelet
I still look at my prisoner of war bracelet. I was only 13 when I got my bracelet. I never knew what you looked like until I looked you up, hoping you had come home. You are a very nice looking young man. My cousin was a captain in the Army & gave me my bracelet. Thank you so much for your service & thank you is not near enough. I know your family is so proud of you!
