Thank You
Dear Major Herbert Miller, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Columbus Day just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Final Mission of MAJ Herbert Miller
MAJ William E. Wood Jr. was a Barky Forward Air Controller assigned to the 504th Tactical Air Support Group at Bien Hoa. On April 21, 1971, he and MAJ Herbert Miller were flying OV-10A (#67-14645) on a non-operational flight when an accident occurred in Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam (a second sources cites that the aircraft was lost while supporting the U.S. Marines). MAJ Wood had only served 14 days in combat. He was 33 and married when he died. His body was recovered. [Taken from pownework.org and fac-assoc.org]
