This Is My Daddy

Dad, not a day goes by where I don't wonder what it would've been like to have you by my side, and to wonder what if..... I am honored and proud of the sacrifice you made for your country, and I'm honored to have been your son. Thank for your service to our country, thank you for giving your life in defense of our freedoms, and your son, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren have all heard your story and seen your pictures. You would have been proud to see how everyone turned out. Love and miss you! - James E. Middleton (Albrecht) Jr.

Thank You

Dear SSgt James Middleton, Thank you for your service as a Field Radio Repairer. Your 53rd anniversary is in 11 days, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is another autumn. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SSGT James Edward Middleton, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
