Sadly missed

Tomorrow it will be 49 today years since you were taken from us and I miss you everyday. Wish you had been with us to share the good times as well as the bad. Our first born son was named after you and you would be very proud of him just as we are so proud of you for the huge sacrifice you paid for us.
I will always love, miss and remember you and all the years we spent together as you looked after me. I still have all the letters you sent me from the time you joined the Marines. Miss you so much.
