Well Ferrell, I was finally able to make a trip to the wall. Found your name and rubbed my hand over your name. I’m proud of you for your service and your ultimate sacrifice for our country. You were way to young, never having the chance to really experience life. Rest In Peace. Your classmate of 1967. Sharon Ferris Hoover

Thank You
Dear Sp4 Ferrell Messer, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is another autumn. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Never will forget you
I never knew you, or knew any of your family members, but thank you. Thank you for serving in the war when no one wanted to. I found this doing a English project over the Vietnam War. We have the same birthday and we are both from Oklahoma. Thank you for everything you did for this country.
God Bless,
Andrew

Remembering Our Family Hero
Ferrell
I never got the chance to meet you. But I have heard many stories about you from your Mother - Jean and your Cousin (My husband) Roger.
I would like to personally "Thank You" for your service. When you gave the Ultimate Sacrifice for Our Great Nation and Our Freedoms that we enjoy there was many Hearts that was broken.
May You Rest In Peace
