A USAFA'65 Graduate

STEVEN BERNARD MELNICK "Steve"
The stork brought Steve to us in the summer of
'61, wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying pretty
mangy. Steve is one of the few members of his class
to possess a civilian pilot's license, which was es-
sential to his former occupation in Billings, Mon-
tana, of bush-pilot in his father's Dry Goods and
Matzo Ball Co. A connoisseur of rare automobiles,
Steve has one of the racier set of rails in the Wing
- a sleek, fastback '51 Plymouth. Future plans
include graduate school, pilot training, TAC, the
test pilot school at Edwards, and an eventual astro-
naut assignment.

Remembering

Steve was my classmate at Billings (MT) Sr. High. When I touched his name on The Wall, I cried.
