PFC Raymond P. Meehan was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, with Combat Distinguishing Device (V), for exemplary courage under fire. He served as a Medical NCO (Combat Medic), Airborne Qualified. He was assigned to HHC, 2ND BN, 503RD INFANTRY, 173RD ABN BDE.
