Thank You

Dear Psgt Homer Medley, Thank you for your service as an Armor Crewman. I researched you within days of your 90th birthday - happy birthday, and I did the research on the 53rd anniversary of the start of your tour. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The anniversary of the terror attacks just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PSGT Homer Landus Medley, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Gridley High School Postings

Dear Homer,
My name is Katie, and I’m part of the Gridley High School Posting Project, which consists of posting remembrances for all of you who fought in the war. Our goal is to post a remembrance for everyone on here. You will always be remembered for everything you have done for this country. You gave up so much for this country; you fought your hardest, and gave it your all. Just for that you will always be remembered.
Sincerely,
Katie
