Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from those who served with you are touching and reflect their admiration and respect for you. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us….

Israel and I arrived at about the same time in 1970. We were both AGE Mechanics. I worked the day shift and he worked the night shift so I never got to know him as well as I would have liked. I do remember we would always talk during the morning and evening roll call. Even after over 50 years I can still remember the smile he always seemed to have. I was able to visit the wall a few years ago and got a rubbing of his information.

Hi,I am Mickey,we were neighbors, at 410 Sutter Ave and together we went P.S.150 elementary school. When, we were in school you made sure I was safe . I remember we danced at a school function everyone said, we made a good Puerto Rican ,dancing team. Your family was my family,they were great. Although after your family move we did not stay in touch, I always would wonder how you all were doing. I can't remember who told me that you had past away, I can tell you, I was sad. For as long as I live , your name will always be remembered. I will mention you when my brother's share their Vietnam days. Migdalia Velez, (Mickey)

I'm sure you were looking forward to coming home. You were short just a few weeks from your tour of duty. You are not forgotten. The evidence is apparent here where several of your fellow airmen have stopped by over the past years. You live on in their mind and heart.
