THE WALL OF FACES

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. While all deaths in Vietnam are tragic that you died just four days after your 19th birthday is especially so. May you rest in eternal peace.

Dennis and I grew up on Detroit Street, two doors apart from the age of 4.
Around that age he taught me how to unlatch our driveway gate, much to my parent's dismay, we together could then roam the neighborhood.
We had to push start his 50 Studebaker in the pouring rain after a Clay H.S. football game. He ended up with a Red Chevy Impala 409 after that.
He was in uniform at home the last time we waved goodbye.
God bless he and his comrades. May those angels watch over us and our country.

Dear PFC Dennis Mead, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was the anniversary of the terror attacks. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
