Doesn't seem that long ago
I knew him as Shaver. Cousin to Jimmy Phelps. He had a Dark Blue '66 Chevelle SS that he Babied.
I had a '65 GTO. He lived down the Hill from St. Mathias. I lived on Winding Lane. When I heard he died, I went down
the hill and looked through the window of the garage and saw the car that was waiting for him to
come home. And I cried. Some people may say that's silly. But it's not when you're 20 years old.
