to whom it may concern,

since joining the army right out of high school i wasn't always sure what i was getting into, and sometimes i really found it mentally and emotionally tiring. however, like the other individual on here, i found a POW/MIA bracelet with Maj. Maxwell's name and info on it. and in some weird way, it gives me strength to know that no matter how harsh things seem now, there are individuals who have been there before me.

POW/MIA Bracelet

I just wanted to leave this note in the event that a family memeber might read this. In 1974 I found a POW/MIA bracelet with Captain Maxwell's name on it. I didn't know the history behind the bracelet until I connected to the internet and decided to try to find out more about Captain Maxwell. Since this time I have found out that he is still listed as MIA. I just wanted to let the family know that I have always cherished this bracelet even though I didn't always know the meaning of it. I would love to here from anyone who knew Captain Maxwell and to perhaps one day know what kind of person he was. I can be contacted at [email protected]
