Dear Cpl Luis Massa, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. The 51st anniversary of the start of your tour just passed. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Independence Day just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Thank you for stepping up and answering your country's call. Rest easy knowing you will never be forgotten.

You were taken from me too soon. I wish you could have been there to share in all of the important milestones in my life, but I understand that someone has to defend the freedoms of our great country. I am proud to know that, if you could not be there while I was growing up, that it was due to the greater cause of duty to and patriotism for your adopted country. Your sacrifice has been a defining event in my life and has helped to shape my character and outlook, making me the man that I am. You have brought honor to our country and to our family. I look forward to the day that I will see you again in Heaven. ¡Gracias, Papi, por ser un gran héroe Americano!
