Your mom Lois never forgot
I never knew you, but for 10 years I lived near your mother and helped her in her later years get to appointments and so forth. I was there when her husband died ( your step dad) and I was there when your brother died. You were missed more than you would ever have guessed and your mom grieved from the moment you passed... she was shattered. I read these memorials about you and realize you must have been quite an amazing man cut down far too young. This memorial Day I am putting flowers on the grave of a man in Eden NY who died the same day you did in Vietnam... As somewhat of a tribute to you as well because I cannot go to Marion, Ohio. The best that I can say is Rest in peace Charles and someday hopefully we all will meet again.
