My NCO

Sgt. Martin was not only my NCO. He was also my best friend. I first met him at Ft. Benning, Ga. We served together learning the air-assault way of fighting. The last time that I saw him, was just before the Ia Drang battle. I found out that he was KIA at lZ Xray.

Thank You

Dear SSGT Ronald Martin, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Independence Day is this weekend. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
