The Uncle I Never Knew

I’ve heard so many stories of my Uncle Eddie from my mother (Carolyn). He sounds like such an amazing person and everyone loved him. So many people talk about his smile and say that he was always smiling. We have such a large family and I wonder how it would be with him. Would he have a wife? Kids? Would he be like Uncle Jerry? Uncle Wayne? Uncle Adam? I am so grateful that he gave his life for our freedom but there are always what-ifs. RIP Uncle Eddie. I wish I got to know you.

My friend

I will always remember
" Eddie Spaghetti " as I was a 5-7 Yr old while Eddie then (mid 1960s) was a teenager working at his father's gas station and Eddie was always nice to me and I remember him tickling me as I was at his father's gas station a lot as my father worked part-time there and his father and mine worked at United States Steel Mill - Fairless Works and were good friends.
I remember Eddie's younger brother Adam as we were roughly the same age.
Eddie's birthday Nov 25th is the same day my mother was born also.
I will always remember "Eddie Spaghetti" forever ...

Remembering a great friend!

My entire family are great friends with Eddie and has family. My dad worked with his dad at Steel mill. Then his dad opened up the Atlantic gas and service station next to Levittown Lanes. My dad worked for his dad at the station. My younger brothers always called Eddie - "EDDIE SPAGHETTI!" They were the "Good Old Days!" My brothers and I are always remembering our good friend - "EDDIE." My our thoughts and prayers be with you forever! Jack Jr., Stephen, Alan, David and Howard Haberstick.

His Sister's Classmate

Edward's sacrifice touched the lives of people he never even knew. I was in his sister, Bonnie's class at Oxford Valley6 elementary, when the teacher told us what had happened. All these years later I still think about you and the sacrifice you and your family made. God Bless you and them.
