Radio Operator
John was radio operator with 1st Battalion 1st Marine Regiment in Vietnam. We immediately became friends when we met because we had the same jobs. John went in the field with Bravo Company while I was radio operator with Charlie Co. Even though Vietnam was many years ago, I think of John often, especially when visiting the “Wall”. Rest In Peace my friend.

Thank You
Dear Lcpl John Marks, Thank you for your service as a Field Radio Operator. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Flag Day just passed, and the birthday of the Army. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
